The investigation concerning Efes Pazarlama ve Dağıtım Ticaret A.Ş., conducted in accordance with the Competition Board decision dated 01.07.2010, was completed. The decision was announced on 19.07.2011 (today), at 14:00 by Erkan Yardımcı, Vice-President of the Competition Authority.
As a result of the investigation conducted based on the claims that, in order to supply goods to points of sales, Efes Pazarlama ve Dağıtım Ticaret A.Ş. and its distributors demanded the exclusive sales of Efes brand beer and/or complicated the operations of points of sales selling competing products, it was decided that an administrative fine of TL 8,085,929.62 (eight million eighty-five thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine TL, sixty-two Kr) should be imposed on Efes Pazarlama ve Dağıtım Ticaret A.Ş.
