The investigation conducted to assess whether 15 undertakings which deal with wholesale banana trade in Başyazı and Anamur districts of Mersin and an association of undertakings violated the Act no 4054 was concluded.

As a result of the discussion of the file on 11.11.2021 by the Competition Board, it was decided that

-The following parties to the investigation violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition:

1.    Ayyıldız Gıda Tarım Ürünleri İnşaat Malzemeleri Taşımacılık Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. and

2.    Bozyazı Komisyoncular Derneği (Bozyazı Association of Middlemen)

- Ayyıldız Gıda Tarım Ürünleri İnşaat Malzemeleri Taşımacılık Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. shall be imposed 4.916,58.-TL administrative fines.

 - Bozyazı Komisyoncular Derneği cannot be imposed administrative fines, as it does not have any revenues and/or net sales.
