The investigation on 23 undertakings operating in the automotive sector, initiated with the decisions of the Competition Board dated 09.09.2009 and 28.01.2010 was completed today. The decision was announced today (April 19, 2011), at 2:00 p.m., by the Acting Vice-Chairman of the Competition Board H. Erkan Yardımcı. Administrative fines were imposed on 15 of the firms on the grounds that they held meetings concerning their future price strategies, as well as on inventory, target and sales strategies.
