The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to the application claiming that jewelers operating in Çerkezköy and Kapaklı Provinces in Tekirdağ violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 by fixing gold purchase and sales prices.

After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 22.08.2019, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 19-29/441-M to initiate an investigation to determine whether article 4 of the Act no 4054 is violated, concerning:
