The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to the claim that undertakings active in the area of chemical products used for chemical purification and disinfection process at water treatment facilities violated the Act no. 4054 by means of colluding.

After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 13.03.2019, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 19-12/136-M to initiate an investigation about the following undertakings in order to determine whether the undertakings in question violated article 4 of the Act no 4054:

• Hicri Ercili Tersanecilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.,
• Koruma Klor Alkali Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.,
• May Asit Kimyevi Maddeler Sanayi ve Ltd. Şti.,
• Sulfert Kimya Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş.,
• Aykimsan Hiçyılmaz Ltd. Şti.,
• Irmak Kimya Turizm Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
