Investigation initiated about Eight Undertakings Operating in Insurance Market (6.6.2018)

The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry related to the claim that undertakings operating in the market for voluntary insurance for big projects with high-risk capacity (including project financing) violated article 4 of the Act no. 4054 by means of collusion.

After discussing the information, documents and findings acquired in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 03.05.2018, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 18-13/240-M to initiate an investigation about the following undertakings in order to determine whether the undertakings in question violated article 4 of the Act no 4054:

  • Allianz Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Axa Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Dubai Starr Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Ergo Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Eureko Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Sompo Japan Sigorta A.Ş.
  • Zurich Sigorta A.Ş.
