Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to the complaint claiming that driving courses operating in the Fethiye district of Muğla set the prices for A2 type driving licenses in collusion.
After examining the information, evidence and the findings gathered in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 18.07.2012, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and with the decision numbered 12-38/1142-M decided to open an investigation concerning the following undertakings operating in the Fethiye district of the Muğla province:
- Özel Fethiye Akdeniz Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Fethiye Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Fethiye Kaptan Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Fethiye Kervan Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Fethiye Yavuz Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Çağdaş Mert Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Karahan Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
- Özel Fethiye Hedef Motorlu Taşıt Sürücü Kursu,
Article 4 of the Act no 4054 prohibits all anti-competitive agreements and concerted practices between undertakings. The investigation was initiated in order to determine whether the driving courses mentioned above violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 by agreements comprised of pricing announcements, contracts, additional protocols and other bills signed in connection thereto.

These declarations, which are made within the framework of informing the public on Competition Board decisions, can not be interpreted to mean the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation have violated the Act no 4054 and that they have faced or will face sanctions under the Act.
