The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted upon the application regarding the claim that Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 by means of its practices related to connection time and fees for wholesale leased line services.
After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made during the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 19.09.2018, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no. 18-33/545-M to initiate an investigation about Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş.  in order to determine whether the undertaking in question violated article 6 of the Act no 4054.

*Investigation decisions taken by the Competition Board are announced to the public following the notification of the decision to the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation. Those announcements, which are made within the framework of informing the public about the decisions of the Competition Board, cannot be interpreted to mean that the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation have violated the Act no 4054, or they are or will be subject to penal sanctions under the Act.
