Investigation conducted in order to find whether private courses operating in the center of Tokat violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 by colluding and determining course fees as well as discount rates and amounts for students was concluded.
The investigation was initiated as a result of the preliminary inquiry that was based on the complaint that the said private courses united under "Association of Private Courses" and colluded to determine registration fees. The investigation examined whether the said undertakings colluded to determine the course fees as well as discount rates and amounts for students in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
As a result of the discussion of the contents of the file by the Competition Board on 11.08.2014, the following undertakings were imposed administrative fines as they violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 by colluding and determining course fees as well as discount rates and amounts for students:
