The Competition Board decision dated 02.03.2016 and numbered 16-07/134-60 related to the claim that Meram Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. violated article 6 of the act no 4054 by means of discriminatory practices regarding unlicensed electricity production application was annulled by the decisions of Ankara 4th Administrative Court dated 16.07.2018 and numbered E: 2016/3512, K: 2018/1815 and E: 2016/5542, K: 2018/1816. Consequently, an investigation whether the said undertaking violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 was conducted and concluded.
As a result of the discussion of the contents of the file on 14.11.2019, the Competition Board decided that Meram Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. did not violate article 6 of the Act no 4054; thus it was not necessary to impose administrative fines on the said undertaking according to article 16 of the same Act.
