The investigation, which was conducted in order to determine whether building inspection companies operating in Çorum and the software company serving those undertakings violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition through anticompetitive practices, was concluded.

The investigation was initiated upon the application related to the claims that building inspection companies created a pool system and allocated business according to a specific system. At the investigation stage, the system created by building inspection companies with respect to accepting business and the role of the software company in creating, functioning and marketing this system were analyzed.

As a result of the discussion of the contents of the file by the Competition Board on 12.02.2013, it was decided that the following undertakings violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 through their practices in the system for accepting business:

- Çorum İlk Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Çorum Pozitif Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Çorum Teknik Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Günay Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Hattuşa Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Kalite Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Loca Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Toktaş Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.
- Tunam Yapı Denetim Ltd. Şti.

Moreover, it was also concluded that Duru Bilişim Teknolojileri İletişim Yayıncılık Eğ. İnş. Eml. Elektronik İth. İhr. İç ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. participated in this violation under the scope of article 14 of the Misdemeanor Act. Consequently, the aforementioned undertakings were imposed administrative fines.
