The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted with respect to the claim that Arçelik Pazarlama A.Ş., BSH Ev Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Samsung Electronics İstanbul Pazarlama ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. and LG Electronics Ticaret A.Ş. and their distributors violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of imposing a ban on internet sales to and/or determining the resale prices of authorized sellers.

After discussing the information and documents obtained and determinations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 09.09.2021, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 21-42/617-M to initiate an investigation about Arçelik Pazarlama A.Ş., BSH Ev Aletleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Gürses Kurumsal Tedarik ve Elektronik Tic. Paz. A.Ş., LG Electronics Tic. A.Ş., Samsung Electronics İstanbul Paz. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. and SVS Dayanıklı Tük. Mall. Paz. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. in order to determine whether article 4 of the Act no 4054 was violated.
