The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted in order to analyze the price increases in the fertilizer sector within the scope of Article 4 of Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition.

Discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made during its meeting of 12.08.2021, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient and took the decision no 21-38/543-M to initiate an investigation about Bandırma Gübre Fabrikaları A.Ş., Ege Gübre Sanayii A.Ş., Eti Bakır A.Ş., Gemlik Gübre Sanayi A.Ş., Gübre Fabrikaları T.A.Ş., İstanbul Gübre Sanayii A.Ş and Toros Tarım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. to determine whether they violated the Act no 4054.
