Organized under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey as part of the Cyber Security Week, the National Cyber Security Summit brought together representatives from the public, private sector and academia.
At the summit held at Beştepe National Culture and Congress Center and honored by the Vice President Fuat Oktay, institutions and organizations that pioneered the use of domestic and national products in the public sector were awarded.
At the summit, the Turkish Competition Authority was also awarded among the institutions that pioneered the establishment of a structure that will set an example for the whole public by using the domestic cyber security ecosystem that works in harmony with the informatics infrastructure.
The award was given to the Vice President of the Authority, Haluk Recai Bostan.
Within the scope of the National Cyber Security Summit activities held with the theme of "Domestic and National Cyber Security", Ömer Faruk Çelik, the Head of the Information Technologies Department of the Competition Authority, participated as a speaker in the panel on "Developing the Local Cyber Security Ecosystem in the Public Sector".
