According to the Competition Board decision dated 02.04.2020, an investigation was initiated upon the claim that Coca Cola Satış ve Dağıtım A.Ş. (CCSD), which operates in many product categories in the non-alcoholic commercial beverages market, prevented the sale of competing products at final sale points and violated the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition.
As a result of the negotiations held following CCSD’s application for the initiation of the commitment process concerning the competitive concerns in the file during the on-going investigation process, CCSD offered a comprehensive commitment package.
As a result of the discussion of the file by the Competition Board on 02.09.2021, it was decided that the commitment package would be rendered binding and the investigation would be terminated since the commitments are proportional to the competition problems, able to solve those, quickly realizable and efficiently applicable.
