The Competition Board rendered its decision on the transaction involving the acquisition of sole control over TP Petrol Dağıtım Anonim Şirketi by Zeren Group Yatırım AŞ via Altınbaş Petrol ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.

The Board addressed the effects of the transaction in detail in the market for the sale of automotive and industrial mineral oil as well as in all stages of the fuel sector, including the provision, distribution, storage and retail sales of fuel. 

As a result of the examination that took the specific structure of the markets examined and the relationships between these markets into consideration, the acquisition was authorized with the Competition Board decision dated 07.11.2024 and numbered 24-25/1063-453, since it did not lead to a significant decrease in competition.
