The Board Decision concerning the request that the acquisition of the sole control and 50% shares of Marport Liman İşletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. to be authorized within the framework of the Act no 4054 and Communique no 2010/4 on Mergers and Acquisitions Calling for the Authorization of the Competition Board (13.08.2020) (16.9.2022)
As a result of the discussion of the contents of the file on 13.08.2020, the Competition Board decided that the notified transaction is subject to authorization under Article 7 of the Act no 4054 and the Communiqué no 2010/4 on Mergers and Acquisitions Calling for the Authorization of the Board; the transaction will lead to significant lessening of effective competition; therefore, the transaction shall not be allowed pursuant to article 7 of the Act no 4054.
