Restriction of labor rights and prevention of competition in labor markets by means of non-compete clauses or no-poaching agreements have taken the attention of competition authorities throughout the world especially in the last few years. The design of competition policy for labor markets is a very sensitive issue as the existence of intensive state regulations and interventions concerning those markets have direct effects on the output markets.
Therefore, the Symposium on Competition in the Labor Market to be held by Boğaziçi University and Turkish Competition Authority on May 7, 2024 in Boğaziçi University Campus will discuss “Competition in Labor Markets” in three different panels.
Lawyer and economist academics with expertise in this area, employers and employees’ representatives are expected to participate in the event. You can find the details about the agenda and registration on the following link:
The outcomes of the symposium are expected to make important contributions to the solution of the problems in this area.
Respectfully announced to the public.
