The investigation conducted in order to determine whether Mey İçki San. ve Tic. A.Ş. violated the articles 4 and 6 of the act no 4054 by engaging in conduct aimed at preventing their competitors’ activities was concluded.

As a result of the discussion of the file by the Competition Board on 16.02.2017; it was decided that Mey İçki San. ve Tic. A.Ş. abused its dominant position by its practices aimed at complicating their competitors’ activities in the market, thereby violated article 6 of the act no 4054 and therefore, an administrative fine should be imposed on the undertaking concerned in accordance with the article 16 of the same act.
