With the Competition Board (Board) decision dated 07.03.2024 and numbered 24-12/230-M, a preliminary inquiry was launched in response to the allegations that undertakings in the automotive sector operating in the production and distribution of tires engaged in exchange of competitively sensitive information among competitors, signed agreements restricting competition between rivals, maintained resale prices of their dealers, allocated regions and customers between dealers, signed exclusivity agreements with dealers, and imposed non-compete obligations on dealers, in order to determine if the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition was violated.

operating in the automotive tires sector as producers and distributors/dealers, to determine if they violated Article 4 of the Act no 4054.
