The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted to determine whether İntema İnşaat ve Tesisat Malzemeleri Yatırım ve Pazarlama AŞ (İntema), which operates in the sanitaryware sector, violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of applying resale price maintenance and region/customer restrictions on its resellers. 

After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 04.07.2024, the Competition Board considered that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision numbered 24-28/668-M to open an investigation about İntema İnşaat ve Tesisat Malzemeleri Yatırım ve Pazarlama AŞ.

Intema operates in the sale and distribution of various sanitary ware products under the categories of ceramic sanitary ware, complementary products, armatures, built-in reservoirs, bathroom accessories, bathroom furniture and bath area products, especially with Vitra and Artema brands.
