Investigation Initiated on 16 Autogas Dealers Operating in the Central District of the Adıyaman Province. (2.3.2017)

Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to the application claiming that autogas dealers operating in the central district of the Adıyaman Province raised prices in collusion.

After discussing the information and documents acquired and the observations made during the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 19.01.2017, Competition Board determined that the findings were significant and sufficient and took the decision numbered 17-03/22-M to launch an investigation on the following undertakings in order to ascertain whether they violated article 4 of the Act no 4054:

As known, article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition prohibits anti-competitive agreements and concerted practices between undertakings. The investigation was initiated in order to determine whether the undertakings in question violated article 4 of the Act no 4054.

*Investigation decisions taken by the Competition Board are announced to the public following the notification of the decision to the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation. These declarations, which are made within the framework of informing the public on Competition Board decisions, cannot be interpreted to mean the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation have violated the Act no 4054 and that they have faced or will face sanctions under the Act in question.
