The Competition Board came to a decision concerning the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to the application claiming that Türk Philips Ticaret A.Ş. violated the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by abusing its dominant position through setting different prices for buyers of similar standing in the sales of spare parts of medical imaging and diagnostics devices.
After examining the information, evidence and the findings gathered in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 09.09.2015, the Competition Board took the decision numbered 15-36/548-M to launch an investigation on Türk Philips Ticaret A.Ş.
Article 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition prohibits abuses of dominant position. The investigation was initiated in order to determine whether the undertaking in question violated article 6 of the Act no 4054.
