After discussing the information and documents acquired and the evaluations made in the preliminary inquiry conducted in response to an application filed to the Competition Authority, in its meeting of 27.09.2017, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 17-30/489-M to initiate an investigation about İstanbul Elektronik Haberleşme Ve Altyapı Hizmetleri San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. to determine whether the said undertaking violated the Act no 4054 by means of its practices regarding the infrastructures of electronic communication operators.

*Investigation decisions taken by the Competition Board are announced to the public following the notification of the decision to the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation. Those announcements, which are made within the framework of informing the public about the decisions of the Competition Board, cannot be interpreted to mean that the undertakings or associations of undertakings under investigation have violated the Act no 4054, or they are or will be subject to penal sanctions under the Act.
