The investigation conducted according to the Competition Board decision dated 23.09.2021 and numbered 21-44/650-M to determine whether DSM Grup Danışmanlık İletişim ve Satış Ticaret AŞ (TRENDYOL) has violated article 6 of the  Act no 4054 on Protection of Competition by means of its practices in online marketplaces market has been concluded.

As a result of the discussion of the file on 26.07.2023 by the Competition Board, it has been decided that TRENDYOL has favored its retail activities unfairly by intervening to the algorithm and using the data of third party sellers who make sales on the marketplace; those practices have complicated its rivals’ activities and violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 and the said undertaking shall be imposed administrative fines.
