The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted upon the claim that DSM Grup Danışmanlık İletişim ve Satış Ticaret AŞ violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition with exclusionary practices in the market for platform services providing intermediation for online sale of second hand products by favoring its service DOLAP, which carry out activities in the market for platform services providing intermediation for online sale of second hand products, through sharing consumer data and by preventing the transfer of the data used by the sellers in DOLAP service to competing platforms.
After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made during the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 26.05.2022, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 22-24/385-M to initiate an investigation about DSM Grup Danışmanlık İletişim ve Satış Ticaret A.Ş. in order to determine whether it violated article 6 of the Act no 4054.
