The investigation conducted to determine whether THY Opet Havacılık Yakıtları AŞ violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by excessively increasing the fees related to jet fuel storage and refueling services under the scope of the operation of fuel storage, sale and refueling units located in İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport has been concluded. 

As a result of the discussion of the file by the Competition Board on 18.07.2024, it was decided that THY Opet Havacılık Yakıtları AŞ did not violate article 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition; therefore, it is not necessary to impose administrative fines to the said undertaking.
