The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry about the claim that Storytel Turkey Yayıncılık Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi violated articles 4 and 6 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by preventing the entry of competitors to the audiobook market with the long-term exclusivity agreements that it made with publishing houses and the owners of the works.

Having discussed the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 06.04.2023, the Board considered the findings significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 23-17/301-M to initiate an investigation about Storytel Turkey Yayıncılık Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi
