The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted ex officio about the price increase in the fertilizer sector.

After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 21.02.2019, the Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 19-08/96-M to initiate an investigation concerning the following undertakings to determine whether the undertakings in question violated article 4 of the Act no. 4054:

• Ege Gübre Sanayii A.Ş.,
• Gemlik Gübre Sanayi A.Ş.,
• Gübre Fabrikaları T.A.Ş.,
• İstanbul Gübre Sanayii A.Ş.,
• Toros Tarım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
