The investigation initiated in response to the claim that Google violated article 6 of the Act no 4054 by abusing its dominant position in general search services market and complicated the activities of its competitors in online shopping market was concluded.

 As a result of the discussion of the contents of the file on 13.02.2020, the Competition Board decided that  Google  (the economic entity composed of Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Ltd. Şti., Google International LLC, Google LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Alphabet Inc.) violated article 6 of the Act no. 4054; thus the economic entity shall be imposed administrative fines.
