The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted about the claim that undertakings operating in the cosmetics and personal care products sector violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 by resale price maintenance and restricting online sales.

Having discussed the information and documents obtained and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 22.12.2022, the Competition Board considered the findings significant and sufficient and took the decisions numbered 22-56/875-M(3), 22-56/875-M(4), 22-56/875-M(5), 22-56/875-M(6) and 22-56/875-M(7) to initiate an investigation about Biota Bitkisel İlaç ve Kozmetik Laboratuarları AŞ, Colastin Sağlık Ürünleri AŞ, Gerçek Kozmetik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., Kozmoklinik Kozmetik ve Medikal Ürünler Paz. ve Tic. AŞ and MOT Grup Bilişim Ltd. Şti.
