The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry about the claim that certain undertakings operating in power transformer sector violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition.

Having discussed the information and documents obtained and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 13.07.2023, the Competition Board considered the findings significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 23-31/596-M to initiate an investigation about Astor Enerji AŞ, Balıkesir Elektromekanik Sanayi Tesisleri AŞ, Eltaş Transformatör San. ve Tic. AŞ, Grid Solutions Enerji Endüstrisi AŞ, Hitachi Energy Turkey Elektrik Sanayi AŞ and Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji ve Mühendislik AŞ.
