The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted to determine whether the economic unity consisted of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Ltd. Şti. violated article 6 of the Act no 4504 by means of abusing its dominant position in the market for general search services.

Having discussed the information and documents obtained and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 12.01.2023, the Board considered the findings significant and sufficient and took the decision numbered 23-03/27-M to initiate an investigation about the economic unity consisted of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Ltd. Şti.
