The Competition Board has concluded the preliminary inquiry conducted upon the claim that the economic unity consisted of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Ltd. Şti. violated article 6 of the Act no 4504 by means of tying and self-preferencing with respect to online display advertising and ad tech services.

Having discussed the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting on 12.01.2023, the Board considered the findings significant and sufficient and has taken the decision no 23-23/432-M to initiate an investigation about the economic unity consisted of Alphabet Inc., Google LLC, Google International LLC, Google Ireland Limited and Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Ltd. Şti.
