The Competition Board concluded the preliminary inquiry, conducted ex officio, whether undertakings active in hot air ballooning/paragliding and tourism agencies in Pamukkale region violated the Act no. 4054 by means of establishing a common booking and sales channel.

After discussing the information and documents acquired and observations made in the preliminary inquiry in its meeting of 23.05.2019, the Competition Board concluded that the findings were significant and sufficient, and took the decision no 19-19/275-M to initiate an investigation about the following undertakings in order to determine whether the undertakings in question violated articles 4 and 6 of the Act no 4054:

• Anadolu Balonculuk Havacılık Turizm Reklamcılık Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti.
• Denizli Havacılık Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
• Elis Balonculuk Havacılık ve Eğitim Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
• Eylül Havacılık Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
• Pamukkale Balonculuk Havacılık Turizm Reklamcılık Organizasyon Petrol San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
• Pamukkale Birlik Online Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş.
