During the examination of the notified acquisition of GrandVision N.V. by EssilorLuxottica S.A., by the Competition Board (the Board), EssilorLuxxotica made a request to submit commitments while the examination period was ongoing. (16.9.2022)
As a result of the commitment discussions made thereupon, the final draft commitment text was found sufficient for solving the competition problems. With the decision dated 10.06.2021 and numbered 21-30/395-199, the Board made the commitments in question binding and authorized the transaction in question.
