The preliminary inquiry, which was conducted according to the decision of the Competition Board dated 27.06.2024 and numbered 24-27/655-M to determine whether undertakings which produce/supply non-chemical cleaning products, food storage products, trash bags and bakery consumables violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of exchanging competitively sensitive information, was concluded. 

The Competition Board considered the information and documents obtained and observations made during the preliminary inquiry significant and sufficient and took the decision numbered 24-54/1189-M to open an investigation about Koroplast Temizlik ve Ambalaj Ürünleri San. ve Dış Tic. AŞ (Koroplast), Provel San. ve Tic. AŞ (Parex) and VND Global Plastik AŞ (Vindex) in the meeting on 20.12.2024.

Koroplast produces/supplies trash bags, food storage products (freezer bag, zipper bag, slider bag, cling film, ice cube bag and cooler bag), bakery consumables (aluminum foil, baking paper and roasting bag) and non-chemical cleaning products (sponge, scourer, cleaning cloth and cleaning gloves) with the brands “Koroplast” and “İdeal” brands.

Parex produces/supplies non-chemical cleaning products (floor cleaning products, cleaning gloves, sponge, scourer, cleaning cloth, brush, broom), trash bags, food storage products (freezer bag, cling film), bakery consumables (aluminum foil,baking paper, roasting bag) and lint rollers with the brands “Parex” and “Ekomis” brands.

Vindex produces/supplies non-chemical cleaning products (sponge, cleaning cloth, cleaning gloves, cleaning sets and and systems, mop, cleaning brush and broom), trash bags, food storage products (freezer bag, cling film, storage box), bakery consumables (baking paper, roasting bag), clothes hangers and lint rollers with “Vindex” brand.
