The investigation which was conducted into the claim that Altıparmak Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which operates in the fast moving consumer goods sector as a honey producer/supplier with Balparmak brand violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of exchanging competitively sensitive information was concluded.
Having discussed the file on 29.02.2024, the Competition Board took the decision numbered 24-11/193-77 that Altıparmak Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ violated article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition; therefore, 2.477.859,92- TL administrative fines shall be imposed on the said undertaking.
With respect to Sezen Gıda Mad. Tarım ve Hayvancılık Ürün. Tic. ve San. Ltd. Şti., which is operating as a honey producer/supplier with Anavarza brand and which was under investigation within the scope of the same file, the investigation was terminated with settlement. Within this framework, according to the Competition Board decision dated 15.06.2023 and numbered 23-27/514-174, Sezen Gıda Mad. Tarım ve Hayvancılık Ürün. Tic. ve San. Ltd. Şti., which acknowledged the violation and accepted the fines, was imposed 513.329,91-TL administrative fines because of violating article 4 of the Act no 4054 on the Protection of Competition by means of exchanging competitively sensitive information with Altıparmak Gıda San. ve Tic. AŞ.
